The Big Issue

How many times do we walk past someone begging on the street and fail to connect, even for a moment, with the reality of their life, or with the simple truth of how fortunate we are to have what we have?

Many of them have not simply chosen a different life but through circumstance, misfortune, and life events beyond their control, they have become lost along the way, struggling to keep pace with an unforgiving world that continues to move forward, until eventually finding themselves living on the margins of society.
